Sacred Worship Committees
Ushers/Ministers of Hospitality are dedicated members of the parish who are passionate about helping people. Ushers are present at all Masses to welcome the people, find seating, gather your gifts, arrange for the presentation of the gifts, and take care of emergencies. Scheduling is prepared for the entire year and changes monthly. New volunteers are always welcomed.

Lectors proclaim the Good News of the scripture to the congregation during the Mass. Lectors are practicing confirmed Catholics and, as Ministers of the Word, are encouraged to study the Word of God to better share it with others. Scheduling for one lector per Mass is prepared for the entire year and changes monthly. New volunteers are always welcomed.

Eucharistic Ministers are dedicated members of the parish in good standing and must be confirmed Catholics willing to assist in the celebration of the Mass. Some training is required to become a Eucharistic Minister; training is normally held in June. Anyone wishing to serve in this ministry should contact the parish office at 693-2650.
Eucharistic Ministers for the Homebound are parishioners taking communion to parishioners, when they are homebound and can’t get to Mass. The homebound clearly miss not being able to receive Jesus in communion. They are very thankful to those who bring the Eucharist to them. They are also glad to see someone and to talk with them. You will need to get a pyx for the host from Fr. Don or Jean Nest and they will also give you prayers to say with the homebound.
